I decided to get involved with breeding French Bulldogs because of my love for the breed’s unique personality, charm, and companionship. I’m passionate about promoting healthy, well-socialized puppies and ensuring responsible, ethical breeding practices that enhance the quality and well-being of these amazing dogs.

However, I didn’t know the first thing about it, nor did I know where to start! I invested hours and hours into researching, taking classes, and asking lots and lots of questions. Fortunately, I already had a network of veterinarians who generously gave me their time and answered countless questions, which helped me gain the knowledge and confidence I needed to begin this journey.

Breeding French Bulldogs is a full-time job, as the learning never stops. If you're considering running down the street and buying a Frenchie just to become a breeder, I urge you to take a step back and learn as much as you can about the breed before you jump in. These beautiful dogs are predisposed to many health issues, so before you buy a Frenchie, or any dog, make sure you know the most important questions to ask, understand the answers, and be prepared to say NO.

Believe me, you can find a great dog, but it might be a little harder than you think. That said, it will absolutely be worth it. In fact, it’s even better if you have to wait for the dog of your dreams to be born. That waiting period gives you valuable time to continue educating yourself and, ideally, to find a knowledgeable mentor to guide you through the process.
